Welcome to GRL PWR, a dynamic program designed to nurture growth, build resilience, and inspire confidence, teamwork, and lifelong friendships through physical activity and adventure. With interactive activities focused on positivity, wellness, and respect, girls will develop the confidence and skills to thrive in every aspect of life.
Philosophy
At Adventures in Miramichi, we believe play is the cornerstone of early childhood development. Through play, children explore their environment, develop social skills, and build the physical abilities necessary for future success. Our program fosters a safe and supportive environment where children can freely express themselves, make new friends, and discover the joy of movement.
Objectives
Growth: Encourage personal development, growth mindset, and individual strengths by learning from experiences and embracing challenges.
Resiliency: Building the ability to overcome challenges and develop problem-solving skills through adventure games and obstacle courses.
Leadership Skills: Cultivate leadership qualities such as confidence, decision-making, and empathy to lead and inspire others through team-building exercises and collaborative activities.
Positivity: Promoting a positive mindset and uplifting attitude in challenging situations by incorporating activities emphasizing gratitude and kindness.
Wellness: Emphasizing physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Respect: Instilling respect for oneself, others, and their surroundings. Encourage respectful communication, understanding, and the value of diversity through cooperative games.
